Welcome, the #STOPTHESHOCK campaign is dedicated to ending the use of aversive conditioning and electric shock devices used on individuals with disabilities at the Judge Rotenberg Center in Canton, MA.
Our vision centers on treating every person, regardless of ability, with dignity, respect, and compassion. We firmly oppose the inhumane practices that inflict physical pain and suffering in the guise of behavior modification.
Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, we strive to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of aversive therapy and bring about meaningful change in legislation and public perception. Our ultimate objective is to create a world where all individuals can flourish in an environment devoid of fear, pain, and punishment.
Stand with us in safeguarding the rights and well-being of vulnerable youth and persons with disabilities. Together, we can amplify our voices and make a lasting impact. Join the #STOPTHESHOCK movement, and together, let’s build a more inclusive and compassionate society.
